Formalize StarCommand end of list
Another very low priority request. Currently, the ls* commands in StarExecCommand print a list that is terminated by a blank line. This is a very useful feature when developing scripts to know when the list ends. Please formalize this feature [or an alternative] in the StarExecCommand interface and document this in the manual.
- Code:
StarCom> lssubspaces id=1715
id=1855 : name=QF_BV
id=2097 : name=QF_NIA
id=2103 : name=QF_RDL
id=2161 : name=UFNIA
id=2004 : name=QF_LIA
id=2101 : name=QF_NRA

Re: Formalize StarCommand end of list
Hello Tim,
We've formalized the "\n" list termination in the StarexecCommand Manual as follows:
List Commands
-------------
These commands will print the contents of a given space to the console. IDs and names will be printed.
All lists are terminated by the newline character "\n".
Every command in this category requires the "id" parameter, specifying a space. The parameter "limit"
is optional, and indicates that at most "limit" primitives should be printed. An example is given below
Please let us know if there any list commands that don't behave as described
