Download a large hierarchy without timeouts?

Hi!

What is the best way to download a large hierarchy?

I tried the following:
* Website: Download Space -> hierarchy: Unfortunately, Firefox timeouts while waiting for a response when downloading large hierarchies.
* Command line tool: The command getspacehierarchy returns the error: "ERROR: Error communicating with server".

Do I really have to manually download download sub-hierarchies in small portions? Can I still fetch benchmarks with rsync from somewhere?

When downloading with Firefox it is possible to change the timeout:
* Enter "about:config" in the address field.
* Change "network.http.response.timeout" to a large value (in seconds).
So far it seems to work.
